We present a chromosome-level genome assembly from a female specimen of the Common Brassy Ringlet Erebia cassioides (Arthropoda, Insecta, Lepidoptera, Nymphalidae). The genome consists of a primary assembly of 546 Mb and an alternate assembly. The primary assembly is scaffolded into 11 chromosomes, including the Z and the W sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 15.19 kb.
