Abstract

Twelve species of the family Tetrigidae were reviewed and four species, namely Hedotettix angustatus Hancock 1909, Euparatettix indicus (Bolivar 1887), Paratettix cingalensis (Walker 1871) and P. asbenensis Chopard 1950 are recorded as new country and state records. An attempt has been made to reveal the taxonomic status of Tetrigidae in Sindh by identification based on morphological characters, photographs, line drawings and measurements of different parameters to produce a taxonomic key to the species of Sindh.
