Abstract
Impatiens nayongensis X.X.Bai & Y.Chen, sp. nov. from Guizhou Province, China, is described and illustrated here. I. nayongensis is most similar to I. forrestii and I. piufanensis in morphology. However, it is distinctive in lower sepal broadly funnelform, hooked spur, and emarginate at apex of the distal lobes of the lateral united petals. A detailed description, colour photographs and a provisional IUCN Red List assessment are provided. Its geographical distribution and morphology are also compared to similar species.
